The troop is a strong troop consisting of aboyt 25-30 boys. The troop meet on a Friday night in their Scout hall in Rhiwbina. During an evening the boys will play two games, and then between them badgework, training or some fun activitys.

There are two weekly leaders Leaders: Don Chene SL and Anthony Chappin ASL. Along with them, parents and helpers come to help with any activity depending on what they are doing.

The troop go on an Annual Summer Camp every year and smaller camps spread across the year e.g. Easter Camp. The troop has a lot of fun cooking, eating, sleeping, walking ang other activitys in the Brecon Beacons. This year however, the troop went abroad to The Netherlands. Some of the boys have been making contact with some other boys in the area we stayed stayed in. This will hopefully, aswell as gain them a badge, will help comunication between two groups.
